Puppy Shop Inc has been serving the online dog
community since 1997, first with a website dedicated to dogs and dog breeders and
then our store selling products specifically chosen for dogs and puppies.
Payments Accepted
ThePuppyShop.Com accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American
Express and Pay Pal. We ask that all orders be placed through our secured online
shopping cart. Our SSL shopping cart is run through the
Yahoo Merchant Solutions - Use industry-standard
SSL encryption to transmit credit card information securely on its way from the
shopper to our computers, and from our computers to you, the merchant
To expedite your order, please have the correct billing information.
We do AVS verification on all credit cards. Your billing address and zip code must
match what is on file with your credit card company. We also require the three digit
CVV number on the back of the credit card. If you are unsure of this information,
please contact your credit card issuing bank.
Shipping Information
We make every effort to get your order out the next business day,
but all approved orders are shipped within 2 business days (Mon-Fri, not including
holidays). We use UPS and USPS Priority.
We are located in Southern California. The approximate transit
time from zip code 93551 is listed below. Please calculate the time once the order
is shipped, not when the order is placed.
- UPS Ground - West Coast 2 -
3 days, Mid West 3 - 5 days, East Coast 5 - 8 days
- USPS Priority - 2-3 days, not guaranteed
- Next Day Air - next business day calculated after package
is shipped.
- 2nd Day Air - two business days calculated after package
is shipped.

Shipping Methods:
We offer UPS Ground, UPS Next Day, UPS 2nd Day, Alaska/Hawaii/APO's,
USPS Priority, USPS Priority with Insurance and Canada Priority.
Estimated UPS Ground Shipping Time
Shipping transit time is calculated Monday - Friday, not including
holidays.

UPS Shipping Correction Charge
If the address you submit for shipping is incorrect UPS adds a
$6.00 ($10.00 for Next, 2nd, 3rd Day Air) address correction fee to the delivery
of your package.
Undeliverable Returns
Effective July 1st, 2006 packages shipped UPS that can not be
delivered and are returned to us will be charged returned shipping.
International Shipping
We will accept orders outside the USA and Canada though Pay Pal. For more

Coupons and Promotions
We offer a variety of coupons and promotions through our emailed
newsletter, on our site and postal mailings. Coupons need to be entered in the order
form to be valid. The coupon and promotion box is on the Payment page. You may apply
the coupon to see the discount before proceeding to checkout. Once an order is placed
the coupon code can not be added. Please make sure your order is correct before
final submission. You may only use one coupon per order. There is a limit of one
coupon offer per person and or address (you may use different offers on different
orders, but may not use the same offer more than once).
Cancellations or Changes
Once an order is placed and we receive it in our warehouse there
will be no cancellations or changes allowed. Orders returned as undeliverable will
be charge the return shipping and restock fee.
Return Policy
Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not completely
satisfied with your items* you may return or exchange them within 21 Days of Original Purchase
for a refund minus original shipping and handling costs. Please contact us for a
Return Authorization Number (RAN) within 14 days of original order. Email with your order number and items you wish to return. You will then have 21 days
from original order for the items to reach our warehouse. Sorry, no returns will
be accepted after 21 days of purchase.
*No Refunds, Cancellations or Exchanges on the Following
Items: Holiday Items, Dog Costumes, DVD's, Edible Items and
Clearance Items
*Dog Apparel Exchange Policy: Dog Apparel is non
returnable. We institute this policy to protect the health of our customer's dogs.
As dogs have communicable skin diseases which can be transferred from one dog to
another through clothing, we only sell brand new, never tried on apparel items.
We will make a one time exception for an exchange of a like item in a different
size if:
- You opened the package and you can visibly see that the item
is too small or too large. Once the item is tried on we can not accept it back.
- The size you need to exchange is currently in stock.
- Exchange request form is filled out and sent back with item.
- No Exchanges, No Returns on Dog Costumes or Clearance
Apparel.
*Pet Carriers: Pet Carriers must be brand new, unworn,
unaltered condition in original packaging. Carriers are subject to a 15% restocking
and inspection fee. Items that have been in contact with your pet are considered
used (not in original condition). US Health Regulations will not allow us to accept
returns of used items. We recommend that for pet carriers, that you do a visual
inspection to estimate fit or usage.
All other item must be in original packaging, original tags still
attached, saleable, have all packing inserts and in unaltered condition.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. As we can
not be responsible for lost or mis-addressed packages, we highly recommended you
obtain delivery confirmation of your return package. Please talk to your shipper
regarding this.
All returns must have a valid RAN. We will not accept any return
that is not accompanied with a RAN.
If an item is returned that is dirty, or looks like it has been
used we reserve the right to refuse the item or donate the item to charity on your
behalf. If the above items are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the return
or charge up to a 50% fee.
Free Shipping: Occasionally we offer
free shipping on our orders. If any return causes the order to fall below the minimum
amount required for "free shipping" the order is now subject to shipping. Actual
shipping costs will be subtracted from the returned amount.
Damaged Packaged: Do not accept
a package that arrives damaged. If package is left damaged, please contact the shipper
immediately.
Lost Packages: Unfortunately a package may become
lost in transit by the shipping company.
UPS SHIPPING: If your package was shipped UPS please call UPS or send us
an email so that a trace may be placed on the package. UPS will try to determine
the location of the package. It may take up to 10 business days for a trace to be
completed. Once a package has been determined it is lost, replacement items will
be sent.
USPS PRIORITY SHIPPING: If you purchased USPS Shipping with Insurance, please
allow up to 21 days for the package to reach it's destination. If after 21 days
the package has not arrived, please call USPS with your tracking number to begin
a claim.
Defective or Missing Items: If the item received
is defective or missing, please send us an email or call within 48 hours of receiving
your order. If defective, we may ask you to return the item to us for evaluation.
We will either replace the item or return your money based on our evaluation and
current stock. After 7 days, please contact the manufacture directly for warranty
information on defective items.
Items that are chewed through by your dog are not considered defective
as a dog can chew through any type of items made. Please read the following article
